BEAU HAIRDRESSING BECOMES LATEST MYNEWHAIR SALON THAT CARES

A Dorset based salon has joined a pioneering charity’s expanding network of Salons that Care.   

Beau Hairdressing which is based in Bridport, Dorset has become the latest addition to mynewhair’s 800-strong network of Salons That Care across the UK and Ireland.

The charity, mynewhair, was founded and inspired by professional stylist Trevor Sorbie MBE, is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2016/17. mynewhair provides advice and support to anyone who has experienced medical hair loss, and has a national support network of independent salons and trained hair professionals who provide a wig-customisation service for their clients.

Chrissie Wareham Booth has already attended one of mynewhair training seminars for hair professionals, and has now become part of the charity’s network – Salons that Care. As part of its work with the charity, Chrissy has pledged her commitment to responsible training and provide a caring and sensitive service for her clients.

There are currently around 900 hairdressers and 800 salons in the mynewhair Salons that Care network across all areas of the UK and the Republic of Ireland, and more than 100 delegates attend 12 Level 1 and 2 training seminars are held every year.

It’s great to know that we will be able to help so many people who are suffering from medical hair loss. It really will make such a difference to their lives.”
